Zameer Sanglay

My journey with nasheed began in 2023 when I participated in the High School Nasheed Competition, an experience that sparked a deep love for nasheed. A few months later, Alhamdulillah, I was blessed with the opportunity to join Quloob un Nur on a trial basis, and after our first performance, my place in the group was secured.

Since then, I have been reminded of our intention and why we do what we do: to praise Allah SWT, send salutations upon His Messenger SAW, and to inspire the youth to be part of something positive and meaningful. This reflects the heart of our vision, “For the Youth, By the Youth.”

Along the way, I have also learned the importance of balancing nasheed with my studies, responsibilities and other aspects of life, while remaining committed to the journey.

What began as a high school competition has ultimately led me to where I am today, Alhamdulillah, serving as the Ameer of Quloob un Nur. I am truly grateful for this journey and look forward to continuing it with my brothers, In Shaa Allah.
